Freezing; Friends and my trip to Colorado!

Hello everybody! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! As many of you know, my husband tool me to Colorado for the weekend for my birthday! I'm a bit obsessed with the National Parks, so we went to Estes Park to visit Rocky mountain National Park. It was incredible! The Quaking Aspen were right at their peak and were breathtaking!

We hiked 6 1/2 miles the first day, kind of accidentally, We decided to take an offshoot from the trail we were on and then got lost on the way back! I loved it, but hubby wasn't a fan! Ha! We were BEAT afterwards, but the scenery was worth every step!

The next day we hiked a trail called Emerald Lake trail and saw the most beautiful lakes I've ver seen in my entire life! This one was almost five miles, but easier than the day before.

The third day, we were pretty tired, so we took a long drive via the Peak to Peak Scenic Bypass. It was hand down, the prettiest drive I've ever taken! We stopped at this little creek and the aspens were just glorious!

We also saw LOTS of Elk. My husband was so excited!

We finished off the third day with an easy couple of walks around Estes Lake and Lily Lake.

It was an amazing birthday weekend. It's amazing what a couple of days in the mountains can do for your soul!

Today's card is one I made a while back, but forgot about it! I found it while I was cleaning up last week and set it aside to take a photo. Then, I promptly spilled my Diet Coke on it! ACK! But, I stick wanted to show you. It features the adorable Freezin' Fun bundle, as well as the pink plaid printed paper from the Plaid Tidings DSP pack.

Hello everybody! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today, I have another Beautiful Autumn card to share with you. In case you didn't see Friday's post, I showed three different ways to use this fun bundle. You can see all three projects here.

This card also features the Plaid Tidings DSP, the Birch Background Stamp and the In Good Taste Elements.

I actually CASED a card I made many years ago. I love this card and it was easy to recreate with new products. You can see the details on this old card here.

And, I also want to say THANK YOU! You all helped me reach my goal, AND surpass it by quite a bit! With more than a week left to go!! Incredible! We filled my chart and even filled three more rows! I will be drawing for the last two Cut and Emboss Machines today on Facebook. Thank you again! You are all so good to me!

Facebook Friday- Beautiful Autumn

Hello everyone and welcome to Facebook Friday!

This week, I've designed three different projects using the Beautiful Autumn bundle from Stampin' Up!  While it may not feel like Autumn here in South Texas just yet, I am dreaming of crisp temperatures and colored leaves!

In case you've never joined me for Facebook Live, I go live every week, (typically on Friday at 2:00 CST but today is at 11:00 AM) on my Pink Buckaroo Stampers Group page with three projects. Everyone is welcome to join!

If you are unable to join me live, I will upload the recording here afterwards.

First, we'll make a shaker card with the little punched leaves and the Sequins for Everything.

Next up, I created a card inspired by the Aspens in Colorado. Hubby and I are headed to the mountains for my birthday and I can't wait to see this in person!!

They have all the products I used and measurements for each project.
