Isn't this a great sketch? Its from Page Maps, and was chosen by my friend Brandi for a one night challenge. It was so easy to work with that I did it twice!
I also bought new paper on Friday night. That always keeps me up late! I wanted to use it all right away!
I have a problem. I can't throw away my scraps! And since I became a SU demo, its become even worse! I have 12 X 12 drawers for all my scrapping scraps, but I have kept all my SU scraps seperate from those scraps! Yes, I know, its a strange sickness probably.
SO, when my SU Scrap Box became so full I couldn't manage it anymore, I sat down and started to sort them into basic colors. I tried to throw away anything that wasn't stampable size. Lets just say, I didn't throw away much....
And then there is the problem of Design Studio Paper. If its no longer active, do I toss it? {GASP!} No, its not in my nature to throw away perfectly pretty paper....
Emma was ashamed that her mother could be so silly and so messy when it comes to paper. She thought I was putting it into stacks so that she could draw on it! {GASP again!} I was scared to turn my back on her cute little self. I knew she would grab and run and my beautiful SU paper would end up somewhere in her nest and never be seen again....
So I found this little jewel at Michales. I used my lovely President's Day coupon and got it for $5! Its accordian style and fits 12X 12.
It worked beautifully...until I had all my paper JAMMED in there and the thing won't close further than this position...sigh....
I guess I will need to treck back over to Ms to grab another one...or three.....
My oldest, Ellie, decided she wanted to be a Pirate for Halloween last year. The deciding factor? When she thought about making her baby sister be her parrot! She asked how we were going to get Addie on her shoulder... LOL!
Yea, not really what I am known for! LOL! But, thats the challenge over at Paper Pal Arts, so I had to step out of my Comfort Bubble (Donna, if your reading, thats for YOU!!! ;-)
I do always admire those simple cards with clean lines and am always very happy with the result when I do attempt to keep it simple. And this one is a keeper I think! And, I do believe there is no better color combo that blue and ornage! Its so perfect together!

My girls were pirates for Halloween and we had these great pictures made by a local photographer named Brandi Sutherland. They were so fun to scrap! Thanks to an online Buddy (Ashley) for some of the swap items!
I have two more to post tomorrow, so chack back "me hardys!"
I got some mojo going this weekend and scrapped Christmas and Halloween! I love getting thos pictures off my desk! This is my cutie Emma. She loved Christmas this year. SHe still talks about Santa... I love that sweet excitment when they are young!
I want to do some monogram cards next month at my Hostess Club Meeting, so I decided to play around a little with some of my alphabet stamps. I was inspired by some beautiful cards made by Kris at Kween Bee Kreations.
The Whisper WHite background was embossed using my Big Shot and Texturz Plates.
this one was embossed just by using my Scor Pal and running a line every 1/2".
I always love Valentine's Day, but I really love when its over because to me, its the first sign that spring is near! Here in San Antonio, the first tiny tree buds emerge at the end of February! I found these pictures from last February that I had not scrapped yet and thought they were a perfect reminder of why I love the END of February!

I love a good sketch! And this one is clean and simple which I love! Paper Pal Arts design member Margaret Moody designed this sketch for this week's challenge. I used twoof my new sets; Vintage Vouge (Occasions Mini Catalog) and Three Little Words (one of your choices when you take advantage of SU's Sale A Bration!) Colors are the always beautiful Old Olive, So Saffron and Lovely Lilac. Yummy ribbon is from the new mini also, satin Old Olive.
Now Addie is only 15 months, so she isn't quite a stamper yet, but Mommy made some treats for her anyway! She will give these to her friends at Day Care. I followed the tutorial at Flowerbug's Inkspot to make these itty bitty sucker holders. I started with a 4" square and scored it at 1.5" on each side.
They are stamped wit I {Heart} Hearts in Real Red.
For Ellie and Emma's Valentine's we came up with a pretty simple design! We found these cute straws at the grocery store and Ellie knew thats what she wanted to give!
We cut out the Top Note shape from white CS and used the cute little birds from Love You Much. I ordered Ellie and Emma their own name stamp from the Love Bots series. They enjoyed stamping their names as well as punch the heart holes with the SU heart punch.
For my kids teachers, I decided to make them clipboards for Valentines Day. They are not your traditional Valentine colors because I wanted them to be for everyday.
Paper is from one of the big craft stores. Ribbon and ink are a mix of SU and craft store again. And, I pulled out my big "E" to cut the R and K. Its been a while since he came out to play!
I just love this cute little set called Lots of Bots. It was perfect for the birthday present I gave last weekend! He looks cute in any color I am finding! Originaly, I thought he should be grey. But, he is so much better in full color!
