I love Stampin Up's Designer Series Paper for lots of reasons. but, the fact that you get two designs on one sheet is a big bonus! Last summer while at a scrapbook retreat with some friends, we all made a version of this layout that features showing off both sides of a paper.
So, I was thinking about this page while I was playing with Frightful Sight DSP and some pumpkin pictures from last year. I simply rolled it over on the ends and tacked it down with some glimmer brads.
I think this is a great, simple and fast technique to use to make a page with some pizazz. So, I decided this month's scrapbook clubs would enjoy playing around with the spooky Pick Your Poison DSP in this way.
You can see how it gives the page a little dimension because were not actually folding it down.
I also used the netting background stamp as well as Scaredy Cat and Jack of all Trades stamp sets.
The fiber is Peach Parfait ribbon pulled apart.
Don't forget that I still have kits from last week end's Stamp Camp for sale for $40. They come with video tutorials for each project! Please email me if your interested!
Love the layouts you have created. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is such an easy but very effective technique! It also will help me overcome my 'but if I use this side, no one will see the other side...' mentality! Thanks so much for sharing this tip and your fabulous pages!
