Happy Friday! I survived the first week back after Spring Break! Yay!
Today's challenge at The Friday Mashup is a Triple Challenge!
Today's challenge at The Friday Mashup is a Triple Challenge!
So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
1. Make a project using the "Sketch".
2. Or Make a project using "Butterflies & Your Brayer".
3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a project with "your Brayer using the Sketch and add some Butterflies".
I pulled at Papillion Potpourri for this week's challenge. It's a wonderful set with two matching punches for both size butterflies.
I also used the canvas sheet that you can find in the Occasions catalog. I frayed the edges using my finger nails (just pulling fibers out.) I inked my Distressed Dots with Melon Mambo, Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple. It created an "ombre" look. I love saying that word.. LOL!
I did the same thing with the butterflies. I don't have a brayer (what??) so I tried to create that gradual color change with my stamp pads only. I also used Primrose Petals Satin Ribbon, Wisteria Wonder Twine and a Sale A Bration Button to finish the card off.
I hope you will check out the other designers at The Friday Mash Up and then give this fun challenge a try!
Don't forget, if you like Papillion Potpourri, I have a Project Planner for this stamp set!
