Cooking Up A Memory!

Today at Daily Inspiration, the challenge is a recipe challenge. No, this doesnt mean you have to use flour and sugar, but you do have to use your ruler and a little adhesive! This is my take on the following recipe:
1 pc cardstock
9x7" pp
4x3" pp
11x2" pp
1 tag
9 buttons
3 word title
Now, give it a try! Make sure you post a link in the comments to your LO!

RAOK Week!

RAOK, or Random Act of Kindness, is something fun to do to your neighboors, your family or your online friends! This week on the wonderful scrap board I belong to, its been designated RAOK week! Yay! So, will any of this yummy goodness be coming to your house? Lets just say, its all heading NORTH! (Except for the few things that "jumped" out of the package and begged to live on my scrap shelf!)

Do you have little scrappers under foot?

I sure do! My oldest daughter loves to be with me in my scrapbook room. Her favorite activity is to take my paper cutter and cut up all my scraps! (Its a safe paper cutter, don't worry!)
Scrapbook's etc had a great idea in last month's issue for our little budding paper artist. Using your ever growing scrap pile and a few lunch sacks, let them create these adorable puppets. Or, better yet, have them create ones from their own imagination!

And of course when Daddy gets home, let them put on a performance!

Perfectly Punchy

I love punches. I especially love when punches are used to create something else. Check out these adorable creations:

How stinkin cute is this guy? No, I did not come up with this adorable bunny, I found him and the directions on how to make him over at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog. Check it out! Super easy. He's made out of punches and the Cuttlebug. And look at these guys! OMG! How cute for those Sesame Street Pages! Dawn over at Dawn's Stampin Thoughts always has the greates tutorial videos. Check her out!

Since I am a new IPOD user, I love this one! What a unique card! Lene'e over at istampdou came up with these!

And one more little collection of Easter critters. These little guys are from Share-Inspire-Create. Check them out!

Happy Birthday Little Monster!

Emma, AKA Little Monster, turns two tomorrow! We had a party today at the park! She had a blast and fortunatly, didn't live up to her nick name! She was so good!

Happy Birthday Baby! I love you!

Trick or Treat!

Halloween is my second most favorite holiday. I would say its my very favorite, but I always feel bad saying that. People look down on Halloween because of all the...well, you know- "Bad Stuff!" But for me, Halloween is all about pumpkins, costumes and candy! I mean, what could be more fun?
This year, my girls were "China Girls" for lack of a better term. "Geisha" sounds kind of, hence the generic term! LOL! Ellie got the idea durring the Olympic Opening Ceremonies, and so "China Girl" was born. And, being the little sister to the one and only Ellie, Emma just gets sucked in! It wont last forever, but for now, I will dress them in coordinating cosumes!
I got this fabulous paper from Stampin Up. Its called "Rockability." It goes perfect! I actually worried about these costumes when I ordered them. How will I scrap them when they are red and Halloween pape ris orange?? But, this paper was perfect! See the skulls? The skull stamp is alsom from Stampin Up and its called "Just Jawing." I {heart} Stampin Up!!

"Candy Time"

"Halloween 08"

"Lil' Trickster"

Waiting for summer...

I have a new Lo that is featured today on Daily Inspirations. It makes me long for summer. I am not a fan of winter (yes mom, we do wear coats in San Antonio!) So, scrapping some pictures from last summer makes me long for those hot lazy days. We teachers truly live for SUMMER!

"Sweet Summer"
I just love this new paper! My Minds Eye, I believe.

Here are a few I thought I would share as well. They are somewhat older (like February.)

"Just Like Mom"
My oldest loves to go to scrapbook classes! She is a true artist at heart and loves anything that requires creating (and alone time with Mom!)

"Ready, Set, Go!"
My oldest on her first day of Kindergarten, I can't believe the school year is almost over!

And, for all my fellow Twilighters...
Who's truck with old motorcycles in the back is this?? Yes, I have been stalking the blogs!! Pathetic, I know, but I just can't help myself!

So I feel like my photos are too small? What do yall think? I am wondering if they look any different on your screen. How do I make the bigger with having them fall off at the side? Any suggestions???

Jaundice Sucks!

This is a LO I did to document Addie's stinkt of Jaundice. All three of my girls have had it and it, well, SUCKS! Anyhow, I loved how this turned out and it was featured on Daily Inspirations yesterday.

Busy Little Scrapper

I have been holding on to these photos for a while, waiting for the perfect sketch. I have started ordering my pictures (some of them) as 3X5 rather than 4X6. I take so many pictures, but yet usually can't fit more than 2 or 3 on a layout. So, if I print them smaller, then crop them, they fit nicely on a page with out it feeling crowed.

Funny Girl (looks like I lost a bling on the bottom!)

This LO has some flip up elements. I hid some pictures under the certificates that I couldn't really get scrapped. They were photos I felt needed to be included somewhere, but were not page worthy by them self... KWIM???

Here are some more swap items. These are for "Round Inchies." Fun to make, these little boogers!

And these need something.. but what?? Any suggestions???

And this is my favorite of the week! Hubby and I had a date night on Saturday. We went to the movies (saw Slumdog- OMG!! Go SEE IT!!!!) They had one of those booths there to take your picture. So, we did!! LOL! Althought I hate these pics of me (my face still looks very PG!!) I had to scrap them. I can't believe its been 10 years. Its seems like only yesterday...

And check out this adorable paper! Brand new, just in at the LSS!

Leave me a comment, let me know you were here! Does anybody read this????

Yep! I said it. Actually I am just repeating Ellie. Yesterday, she yelled down from the play room, and I'm quoting her exactly as she said it:

"MOMMMMMMY!!!! Emma has a screw driver! And she is SCREWING everything...including me!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Look at that face! She kills me, the little touble maker, but so damn cute! Gotta write that one in the scrapbook!! LOL!

Here are a couple of new ones. Nothing spectacular, but, hey, they are done!

"What a Pair" I thought later it should have been called "My Sister's Keeper" since Ellie seems to think that's what she is!

"We Have a New What???"

I used my new Stampin Up set called "Certified.' Love it!

Scrappy Stuff

I have a buch of new LOs but can't post them yet. They will be featured on A Daily Challenge soon. So, untill then, here are a few things I have been working on!

Invite for my friend's son's birthday. Its a Spurs theme!

They took a while.. LOL!

And, a couple I can share:

Cheesy BBQ Chicken

AKA; Chilis Montery Chicken.

This stuff is AWESOME! Probably the best recipe I have discovered in YEARS! Another one of my favorite blogs, The Hungry Housewife, had it a few weeks back. You have to try it! Its soooooo yummy!

Here is a picture from her blog:

And here is the link:

Try it! Your family will thanks you!!

Toddler Trouble!

So, this week has been Spring Break. I couldn't wait for Spring Break! However, it has definitely been a week I have not wanted to repeat...

I am not brave enough to take all three kids out in public by myslef. So, that means we would be at home everyday. Which wouldn't have beenso bad if the weather had been nice. But, unfortunately a nasty cold front came thorough bringing a ton of rain. So, by Wed night I was need a stiff drink and a straight jacket!

So, I googled toddler activities and came up with a few good ones. The Craft Crow is a fabulous blog where I found the idea for bathtub paint.

I mixed the following in a muffin tin:
2 T Corn Starch
1/3 cup liquid soap
couple of drops of food coloring
a splash of water

WARNING- Do NOT use Wilton food color paste! It stains their bodies. Emma looked like a pink oompa loompa! The food color drops did not stain, so use those!

Its was a mess to clean up, but well worth the 45 minutes of play time it bought me!

Also, we made an old favorite: Peanut Butter Play Dough. My mom used to make it for me and I loved it. My girls are PB crazy too, so they loved it as well!

Peanut Butter Play dough
1 cup peanut butter
2 T honey
2/3 cup of powdered milk

Mix and play (and eat!) Store in a sandwich bag!

Spring Swap

I had a really hard time comming up with something cute for this swap. I must have made 15 prototypes. But, in the end, I found some things I loved. The suns are my favorite. And that deer stamp is so sweet. I had to use it. The background on the deer tag is a digi tag made by Day.

Am I doing this?

Well...I think I am taking the plunge! Everybody has a blog. I read many blogs daily! So, why don't I have a blog?? Its not like I don't have a million other things to do...LOL! Like chase my own little buckaroos around all day long! So, stay tuned. This will be a place for scrapbooking, cooking, crafts, motherhood and everything else I would like to share. Hope you enjoy!
