I know, I know....

Its been like... two weeks! I know. But, its August, remember! I'll get back to the scrap room soon...
In the meantime, here is a LO I did for a challenge of at DI. Its a "Hybrid"which means I used digital scrapbook elements on it. The trees are from Little Dreamer Designs. I downloaded them, inserted them into a Word Doc, and printed them twice. I laid the first set down and then cut out a few from the second set and pop dotted them right on top. I think they look like something I bought at the LSS.
Anyhow, give Hybrid a try. its fun and CHEAP!

Beatles Inspiration

This LO was done after reading lots of Beatle lyrics. I felt like this title was so appropriate because Emma is so full of energy, it really takes more time then 7 days a week to keep up with her! LOL! I used several swap items as well (butterfly, dictionary flowers.)

Featured on Daily Inspiration last week.

Killing Time...

I am patiently waiting a very large SU order today. I am dying here and hope it arrives before I have to go get the kiddos! So, I'm killing time...

My Love is featured over at Daily Inspiration today. It turned out so nice and really matches the sweet face in the picture I think. I love my Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch and I can't stop using it!

I also like the way the Bingo card is used here. I have had it for a long time and when I saw it used this way, I knew I had to lift that idea! I love those cards, but never figure out to use them! Those are MS flowers as well with little glittery centers. Love them! Her stuff is so nice and clean looking.

This paper is Stampin Up (retired.) I love it and have used almost every square inch of it!

I will update this week (hopefully) with some of my creations from all my new SU goodies! Can't wait!

A little of this, A little of that...

One of the fun things we do at my school, is go see Zero hero every 10 days of school. The kids love him! He's a rock star at our school! For the 100th Day of school I got some really cute pictures of Ellie (back in February) that have inspired me to make some things for my team mates at school.
I used Paper Doll Dress Up to make a Zero Hero for our Calendar that the kids can count and move to the next day he will come visit. I also made big ones to put on our doors every 10th day so the kids will know its a ZH day! My friends were so excited to receive them!

So, while I was cutting all the tiny little capes, I went ahead and cut one for the scrapbook. These pictures have been sitting in the basket since February and I can say they are finally scrapped! I used a Valerie Salmon sketch at Got Sketch.

This LO is a lift of my friend Jen over at RoxyBond's Sketches. I used a map that we used while in DC as background paper. I cut out the section that shows the mall and cut it into 1.5 inch squares. It turned out so cute. I decided to do that while walking down the mall using the map back in June...LOL! Always thinking about scrapping, even while in the shadow of the White House!

This is an tri-shutter card. I saw the tutorial over at Splitcoast *and have been dying to make it. Its for a friend's birthday this week... Shhhh.. hopefully she doesnt see it here first!
*while rereading this, I wrote Split Peas..LOL! Some of you will get that. I'm tired...*
And then I have been swap crazy. I sat last night and watched New In Town with Renee Zelweger and made all these swaps! Mind numbing work.. kind of nice!
This one is from my new Cricut Cart called Life's A Beach. Its for a Di Cut swap, Anything goes.

I'm a sucker for skulls and a major sucker for Halloween. This skull is from the same cart and for the same swap except for the Holiday group.

And then the inchies. i go over board with these because they are so easy! Same skull, just used the charm feature and made them 1.5 inches.
My favorite Stampin Up set, Circle Circus. I used the new in color Burmeda Blue and Chocolate Chip

And these little cuties are from Perfect Chemistry. I made the spiral edge by punching tiny little holes and then using my paper piercer to rip through them. Cute huh?

Ok...early meeting tomorrow...when will I scrap again..sigh....

It's that time of the year...

August is to a teacher, what April is to an accountant. Yes, this is my tax season! And on top of it all, I started doing Stampin Up! So, my own personl scrapping has taken a back seat in the last few weeks. But, I do have a few things to share. My mom is going to continue to send me harrasing emails if I don't show something! ;-)

The following LOs are for DI. This is a rainbow challenge and offically my favorite LO! I used all scraps. The title is stamps, SU Varsity Letters.
This was a hidden journaling challenge.

And this was a scraplift. I love those little watermellons. They were just cb circles, cut in half and covered with paper. Cute, huh?

So I had my first SU event, a Calendar Cover Class. It was a blast and a huge success. It was a rather difficult project, but even my non crafty friends walked away with a project they were very proud of. I was very proud of all of them!
I also did a card buffet. For $1 each, they could make these cards. Unfortunalty, the calendar covers took the better of 3 hours, so not many cards were made! LOL! But, I am going to do a card buffet by itself soon. Each card was clipped onto a bag that had all the materials needed inside, already cut.
They are all featuring the new In Colors from Satmpin Up as well as the new Circle Circus stamp set, which is my current favorite. It is so versitile and stamps so well! I also used one stamp from Yippee Kiy Yea and a few from Tiny Sayings.

My rooms were bursting at the seams while everyone worked! I had 17 stampers!

I'll be back in a few days. Mom, stop emailing me! ;-)
