Well, I didn't find the camera card... Ugh! I'm so mad! Some really good pictures on there... Sigh... But, I did realize I still had one of the Halloween projects I was going to post (duh!) So, I retook the picture. The other one was the cutest, and I already gave it away! Boo Hoo...

Anyway, I love this one too! This little cutie is from Greeting Card Cuties. These kids remind me so much of my girls. I just love them! Scroll down to see one of them in her Halloweena costume!

The colors came from the Color Q this week! Always love them!

One of my own Greeting Card Cuties got to dress up in her costume at school yesterday. She is Halloweena, a cross between a fairy, a witch and a princess. We just say she is a Halloween Pincess! LOL!
Today, my oldest Greeting Card Cutie is going to an awards ceremony for her Harry Potter Pumpkin! Her art teacher called yesterday to tell us she won another ribbon at the district level! Stay tuned for more shameless bragging from me tomorrow.. ;-)

Have a great Saturday!

I had two more really cute Halloween projects to show you today and tomorrow. However, while Daddy was "supervising" the baby earlier in the week, she broke into my office and stole the camera card right out of the computer. I have spent the last three days looking for it with no luck. Boo Hoo! And I saved the best two for last!! Not to mention all the pictures of the girls I have taken over the last month.Sigh....

Anyway, I will take today to remind you of my new class Got Gift Cards? This class is December 4 if you are in town, or I will mail it to you if you are not! Check it out HERE.

Also, I am very, very close to htting a new sales goal. So, if you need any Stampin Up' supplies and would like to help me out, please order them this weekend! I will send you one of my cards featured here in the last month if you do! :-) You can order HERE.

Gingham Holidays- FTL113 & CLCC 15

Happy Monday everybody! I need another day off! Traveling on the weekend makes for a very difficult Monday! LOL!

So, today I made another Christmas card. It's a little bit non traditional I think. It features the yummy gingham DSP from the pack called Build A Bear Workshops Pawsitively Prints 2. Its designed for the clothing on the little Build A Bear dies, but I think its perfect for regular card making because the prints are small. The ornament stamp is from Jolly Bingo Bits.
I did two different techniques as well. I did the rock and roll technique where you stamp onto a lighter color (So Saffron) and then roll the edges around in a darker color (More Mustard.)

I also took some of the Poppy Parade Ribbon and cut off one edge. I pulled it apart so that I had a bunch of thread. I used it like embroidery thread basically and made the little bow. So cute! And it matches perfectly! I love using thread to make tiny bows.

The sketch this week came from Clean and Simple, which I always love. The colors came from Create, Ink , which is a new favorite challenge blog of mine!

So, I've been working on my new class. I havent decided on a date quite yet, but it will feature Gift Card Holders. I don't know about you, but I give a ton of Gift Cards away. So, I need lots of these on hand! Here is a sneak Peak. And, like the previous class, this one will be available as a "to go" class if you live out of town! Stay tuned for details!

A Crafty Week...

We have had such a busy week. The girls spent all week working on their pumpkins for our school's Pumpkin Patch (more on that below) and I spent the week getting read for stamp clus and a trip out of town. Wheew! So, sorry for the brief absence!

Today, I created a card for the Play Date Cafe's One Year Anniversary Challenge. The inspiration is below:

And, because I like to be effecient, I also used a sketch from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and the inspiration challenge from Paper Pal Arts!

I used some beautiful DSP called Sweet and Sour. I love this paper!

Stamps: Curly Cute
Ink and Paper: Sweet and Sour DSP, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla
Other: Scallop Circle Punch, Designer Buttons, Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Big Shot, Nesties, Modern label Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals

This week at our school, the Art teachers sponsers a Pumpkin Patch. The kids are to decorate a pumpkin to represtnt their favorite book character. Ellie, my 2nd grader, shose Harry Potter!
We saw some pumpkin dioramas online somewhere, and we thought it would be gun to do a Hogwarts scene. We worked together on this all week. Daddy cut the pumpkin (its fake) and then Ellie got to wrk. She painted the edges and the floor with acrylic paint. We cut some scrapbook paper up and she glued it in as wall paper.

Together, we worked with the Cricut. We pulled up images on the internet and used Paper Dolls cart to make the little characters to match them. It was a long and tedious job because these guys are pretty small. We ran to HL and bought some miniature things to put on the inside. Last, we made the banner!

My 3 year old's pumpkin had to be much simpler obviously. We chose to make a little fairy from this Angel Cat Sugar book. She painted and colored in the spots. It turned out pretty good too!

Thanks for stopping by! Today I am working on a new class I am planning. Stay tuned for details.. It should be fun!

October Hostess Club

This month's Hostess Clubs will be Thanksgiving/Fall themed.

I found these great ceramic mini loaf pans at the local craft store for 1$! Too good to pass up! I used the From the Kitchen Of stamp set for these.

The pans came in a variety of fall colors. I made a bunch for all the girl's teachers as well! (Shh, don't tell, but I cheated and bought an awesome Pumpkin Break mix at Sams Club!!)

Next, is showcasing a fun technique. Stamping on candles! Its so fun! This is a complete CASE from Tanya Boser and she has a great tutorial on her blog!

Last is the test tube. I've been wanting to use these forever! I bought them HERE. I used the Got treats stamps set for the sentiment.
Today is the LAST day to register for TAGAPOLOOZA! Jump on board! Free class (to go if your out of town) with the purchase of the stamps and punch bundle.
