I'm sharing with you a card I made a while back...
It's a CASE from a magazine.

It was a very involved card as you can see with all the sewing... But, it was fun! I can't even remember which magazine it was... I used lots of Polka Dot Parade DSP as well as Summer Smooches. The stamp is from Pursuit of Happiness, which is retired....

Speaking of retired, I have listed a bunch of stamps on EBAY! Check them out here.
I will combine shipping if you buy more than one. I didn't specify that in my listings, but of course, I will do that. :-)

Erin and I have been planning the next Stamptastic Event!! We're VERY excited to announce it and we will very soon. Stay tuned! You do NOT want to miss this one!!!

Today is the last day for the Grab your Greetings Promotion! Several awesome sentiment stamp sets are $35 off! Check them out here.

You asked for it, and SU listened! All the NEW COLOR markers are now available individually! Hooray! Check out the item numbers below and get them soon. They are only available for a couple of months!

Camera Tag Album

Good morning! I'm stopping by this morning with a quick post to show you these cute little tag albums I made for my downline, The Sweet Stampede!

We had a very successful year and I wanted to thank them with a little goodie. It was a very easy album to make. I used the new Deco Label Framelit and several punches to create the cover.

This inside is filled with pages made from the Modern Medley DSP and cut with the same die.

I think my team liked them. :-) If you are interested in being a part of my team, email me or click here! :-)

Wouldn't these make a great favor for a party or a shower? And they really didn't take that long!

I also want to "toot my horn" just a bit and announce that I found out yesterday that I am a Finalist for the NEXT Artisan Design Team. What an honor to be chose two years in a row! Back in March and April, I once again spent days and days coming up with ten projects to mail in for the contest. I can't wait to show them to you! I am super excited, but also super nervous. I have LOVED every second of being an Artisan this year and am not ready to give it up... I have been challenged beyond my wildest dreams this year and feel like I have grown so much as an artist. Thank you for all your support and inquires as well. You guys are THE BEST!!

Thank You...

This morning, I woke up to some very good news...
With only a few days left, I earned the Stampin' Up Grand Vacation; A Western Caribbean Cruise! When I was at convention last year and they announced it I didn't even consider it as a possibility... Amazing! So, I want to thank all of you for your help in making my year one for the record books!! I truly am BLESSED to have Stampin' Up and all the friends it has brought into my life.

With that being said, I also want to say it's been a rough week. I've messed up so many things lately. I've mailed things to the wrong person, ordered the wrong item (more than once!!) and screwed up some order payments. So, my nerves are raw and my emotions are high... Funny how something amazing can happen in the mist of what seems like chaos...Today's card seems to represent the way life has been lately.

As I  mentioned earlier in the week, I've been trying to go "Clean and Simple" with my designs and it just isn't going well...This card is a clear example of that. There are many things wrong here, but I won't list them all. Just know this card took me FOREVER! And it should have been simple... But,the idea is there and maybe you can improve on it! :-) I'm challenging myself to use the Six Sided Sampler this week. For some reason, I'm not having very good luck with it... What about you? Have you played with this set yet? Please tell me it's not just me!!!

Hopefully today is a better day.... Thanks for stopping by!

Artisan Wednesday Wow- Remember Who You Are

Welcome to Artisan Wow Wednesday Blog Hop!
You've probably just arrived here from Cindy's Blog
I love all the pretty things she comes up with each week!

Today's page is my attempt to go clean and simple. This is truly my biggest struggle! I want to keep adding and adding, and then I end up with projects that are VERY embellished. So, lately, I've been trying to challenge myself with simplicity.

Coastal Cabana is a BEAUTIFUL color. As part of the new In Color Family, I have used it a ton since it was released. It's a softer form of Tempting Turquoise I think. I little greener maybe. I just LOVE it! So, I made it the focus of the page. I started with a piece of the chevron printed paper from the In Color DSP Stack. I cut along the chevron so that my paper would have a zig-zag shape. I used my Paper Piercer to make holed along the bottom edge and stitched it with a needle and thread.

I added some Coastal Cabana Ruffle Trim along the bottom of my daughter's picture. Have you played with this ribbon yet?? It's a MUST HAVE! It's stretchy and so easy to work with!!

The title was created with the ABC 123 Alphabets, both sketch and outline. These letters are truly super simple to line up! I did not use the Stamp A Majig for this! I eye balled it, and I'm not great at eye balling, so that should show you just how easy it is! I used another new in color for the letters: Baked Brown Sugar. Those lovely arrows are from the Photo polymer set called Show and Tell.

Now, to add a little embellishment, I grabbed one of the Crushed Curry tags from the Bag a Tags. These are great for a quick embellishment, not only on gifts, but for any project! I added a few more pennants cut from the Coastal Cabana DSP. I finished it off with a stamp from Label Love and a beautiful Boutique Embellishment.

I hope you can find some inspiration from my Clean and Simple scrapbook page... I'd like to grab it and add about 200 more things to it, but I'm letting it be. Clean. And. Simple. ;-)

Up next is the amazing Heather Summer's! Make sure to hop on over to her blog to see what wonderful things she is doing!

Tape It and Flower Shop= MOJO!

I've been in a little bit of  a funk lately. It seems everything I make is just plain difficult! I have an idea in my head, but then can NOT get it translated into paper... But, when I made this card, it all fell into place! Love it when my MOJO kicks in.. Too bad it began and ended with this card.. Hopefully it returns soon...

I love black and yellow!! And I love this new set called Tape it. Now you can stamp any color Washi Tape you need! I chose Basic Black! And, the flowers are part of the Flower Shop Bundle. There is a coordinating punch to go with it.. Of Course!! They are stamped in Daffodil Delight.

Each flower features a Basic Black Designer Button and a Whisper White Twine bow. Lastly, the hello stamp is from Four You. I don't know about you, but I am in awe of the sentiments in the new catalog! There are some awesome sentiments!! I have a hard time deciding which ones to use. Some are clever and some, like this one, are in such cute, fresh fonts! Way to go SU! :-)

For this card, I used the sketch at Cardabilities
And this beautiful inspiration photo ast JUGS

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Yippee- Skippee! Treat Pouch made with E-Cutter and MDS

MDS has many files making up it's "library" of images. I explained MDS yesterday to a friend as  a clip art program on steroids. You can create many things from cards and scrapbook pages to photo albums and 3D items. You can print them through SU and have them mailed to you or you can print them at home (although my printer can't hold a candle to SU's printer!!) Another option is to take those images in MDS and import them into an E-Cutter (or electronic die cut machine) and have them cut out of pretty paper.

Today's project uses SVG files from MDS. Like previous projects, I did not create these images in MDS. They are already in MDS as stamps and are already created, ready to use.

SU has created many of these images in SVG form. SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphic. It means that the image was created differently than say, a JPEG. It can be manipulated and resized without losing any of it's properties (pixilation.) Beyond, that, it gets very technical and my eyes begin to cross, but all you need to know is that if the image is SVG then your E-Cutter will have no problem cutting it!

I cut the sea horse, the star fish and the sea shell on my E-Cutter. They are from a download called Anchors Away. The beautiful bag is part of Stampin' Up's new Pretty Packaging called Tag a Bag Gift Bag.  The Coastal Cabana tag was cut on my Big Shot using the Deco Labels Framelits.

I've created another video for you to see just how easily you can merge these SVG files into your E-Cutter. One thing I did not mention in the video that I meant to do was that if you are using the Silhouette Cameo like me, you have to actually upgrade the software in order for it to read SVG files. This was an additional $50 expense on top of the cost of the machine. So, just a word of caution. I had heard that this was something you had to do, so I was prepared. But, just in case, I wanted to let you know! ;-)

You can give MDS a try for FREE for 30 days!  (Please designate me, Erica Cerwin) as your demo when you download it. :-)) It's a download to your computer, not a website. It's easy to use and there is a wealth of videos out there to help you learn how to use it. Please, give me some feedback on these and let me know what else you want to learn. Thanks!!

Away We Go! Triple Time Stamping Scrapbook Page (FMU115)

TGIF! And are you ready for another Friday Mash Up??!!
Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project using 3 of the following colors "Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit, Pacific Point or Daffodil Delight".
  2. Create a project with the "Triple Time Stamping Technique".
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a "Triple Time Stamped Project with 3 of the above colors".

I wanted to do something a little different with this challenge. I have done triple time stamping before and wanted to try to think outside the box... So, I decided to make a scrapbook page rather than a card!

I really like the way this technique creates what looks like new patterned paper! I used the set Around the World. I started using the colors suggested in the challenge, but ended up adding melon mambo as well to match my daughter's dress.I used Designer buttons, Pacific Point and Melon mambo Chevron DSP as well as Daffodil Delight Chevron Ribbon to create the border.

Lastly, I stamped the airplane around her picture in versamark and embossed it with melon mambo embossing powder. the title was created in MDS to resemble the stamp. I then merged it into my E-Cutter and cut it out of Pacific Point card stock.

I hope you hop over to The Friday Mash Up and check out what the other designers have done and then give the challenge a try as well! Thanks for stopping by!
