Teacher Appreciation Days 3 and 4- Jar of Love

Hello everyone! Teacher Appreciation week is almost over! I remember when I was a teacher what a wonderful week it was! Little treats and tokens of love all week really helped make it through May- which is TOUGH when you're a teacher! If you didn't see my post on Tuesday, I send a "Mason Jar of goodies" each day during Teacher Appreciation week. Today, I'm going to show you day 3 and 4.

Teachers love pens- fancy pens!!! So, we bought all kinds of colored pens (and mechanical pencils for the 4th grader who says everyone steals her teacher's pencils) as well as some colored paper clips and erasers.

You have to buy tall Mason Jars for this gift!

For these tags, I used LOTS of new sneak peek products (along with the Jar of Love)! The pen stamp is from a precious new set called Crafting Forever. I colored them with a Blender Pen and Bermuda Bay ink. The sentiment is also from the Crafting Forever stamp set. The fancy label behind the sentiment is from a new set called Label Me Pretty along with the matching punch called Pretty Label Punch. This one is going to be VERY popular! It's very....well, FANCY!! LOL!

And here they are together. Oh, and the ribbon is a sneak peek too! It's called Mini Chevron 3/8 Ribbon and also comes in Crushed Curry and Old Olive.

Today, we took cupcakes in a jar. This is the gift that started my Mason Jar theme years ago. I saw this post on Skip To My Lou and I had to copy it! The teachers went CRAZY for this recipe! So, I make them every year and the teachers always tell me they look forward to their cupcake in a jar! I will say that the cake mix listed in the recipe is very hard to find. In fact, the last two years I actually subbed other mixes. But, this year, I actually found it at Target in the fall! So, I checked the expiration and it wasn't until the summer, so I bought several of them and have been saving them all year!

I had to get a little creative with these tags to create the caramel apple. The round red circle is from a new set called Wood Words (sneak peek!) I cut the "caramel" from Delightful Dijon cardstock using the framelit in the Cool Treats set. The stem was really tricky- I used one of the Balloon Animal stamps! I swear I had a "stem" stamp but for the life of me couldn't find it! The jar and bow are from the Jar of Love set. The oval is Kraft cardstock with stamps from the the Wood Words as well.

Here you can see the layers of cupcakes and icing! My jars were a little bigger than the cupcakes. I bought bigger jars for their classroom teachers and smaller "jelly jars" for all the other teachers. They fit perfect in the jelly jars.

And here they are ready to deliver! We treated all their "specialist" teachers as well as their current classroom teachers and last year's classroom teachers. We also gave one to the Crossing Guard who walks us across every morning, the librarian and the principal. My middle school daughter even took some to her teachers today! Usually, she doesn't want to do this, but she will take the cupcakes in a jar because her teachers love them! LOL!

Ok, I want to tell you that I will be LIVE again tomorrow, but I am moving the time up to 10:45 am CST. My kids have early release and will be home at noon.
Make sure to join my Facebook Group Page so you can see three projects! I will also be giving away a stamp set! I will announce the winner from last week's prize tomorrow as well. See you then!
